    Reminder Before Your Shift

An hour before your shift starts, Vendion sends a reminder to your phone. It is on from the start, so you do not have to do anything to get it.

    What it looks like

The notification has the restaurant name and the start time, for example Restaurang Exempel – Ditt pass börjar 08:00 (your shift starts 08:00). Below the heading are the shift times and station, for example 08:00–16:30, kök (kitchen). Tapping the notification opens your schedule.

    How to turn it off

    1. Tap Profil (profile) at the bottom of the portal
    2. Scroll down to the Notiser (notifications) card
    3. Turn off Påminnelse före passet (reminder before your shift)

Your choice is saved at once. If you want the reminder back, turn the same switch on. Other notifications, for example about a new schedule and changed shifts, are not affected.

If you turn off Push-notiser (push notifications) no reminder arrives either. The reminder switch is then locked, and it says you need to turn on push notifications to get it.

If you work at several restaurants, the choice applies to the restaurant you are on.

    Why did no reminder arrive?

    • You do not have the app. The reminder is only sent as a push, and push only exists in the Vendion app. It never comes as email or SMS, so in a browser you get none.
    • Your phone blocks notifications from Vendion. See Turn On Push Notifications in the Mobile App.
    • You have turned it off under Profil ▸ Notiser.
    • The shift is not published. A draft gives no reminder, and neither does a cancelled shift.
    • The shift was added too late. The reminder is sent between 50 and 65 minutes before the start. A shift added or published closer to the start than that gets no reminder.

    Good to know

    • You get one reminder per shift, never two.
    • If your manager changes the shift after the reminder has gone out, no new reminder arrives. You get the usual notification that the shift has changed instead.
    • The shift time is counted in Swedish time, also on the night the clocks change.
