Tell Us When Something Breaks in the App

    4 min read#61

If you find something that does not work in the app, or something more awkward than it should be, we want to know. In the top right of the staff portal there is a lifebuoy icon. It opens Hjälp & feedback (help and feedback), and from there it goes straight to Vendion developers.

Your manager does not see what you write there.

Two routes – and you choose first

The first thing you meet is a question, not a text field. That is deliberate: most questions that come up in a staff app are not ours to answer.

    You chooseWhat happens
Något i appen krånglar eller kan bli bättre (something in the app is broken or could be better)You get a form, and what you write becomes a ticket at Vendion
Mina tider, lön, schema eller pass (my hours, pay, schedule or shifts)Nothing is sent. We simply show you who to talk to instead

Vendion sees neither your schedule nor your pay. If time is recorded wrongly, a shift is missing or the pay does not add up, your manager is the one who can do something about it – through your workplace, or by commenting on the right post under Nyheter (news).

If you write a schedule question to us anyway you will get a friendly reply saying it belongs with your manager. No harm done, but you get your answer faster by choosing correctly from the start.

    How to report

    1. Tap the lifebuoy in the top right
    2. Choose Något i appen krånglar eller kan bli bättre
    3. Pick one of the chips: Något är trasigt (broken), Svårt att förstå (confusing), Förslag (suggestion) or Annat (other)
    4. Describe what happened – at least ten characters, preferably more
    5. Tap Skicka (send)

You get a confirmation with a ticket number once it has gone through.

    What to write

The more concrete, the faster we can act. "It does not work" rarely gets us there.

What you did. "I opened Schema and tapped next week."

What you expected. "I thought I would see week 38."

What happened instead. "The page went blank and I had to reload."

Three sentences go a long way. You do not need to know what caused the fault – that is our job.

    What is sent automatically

So we do not have to ask you about technical details, the app includes some information about the situation when you tap send:

    • Which restaurant you are employed at
    • Which tab in the portal you were on
    • Whether you are using the app or a browser, and which version
    • A short id for the device itself

Your name is not in the ticket. Vendion can see who sent it through its own log, but the detail does not travel into the ticket, and it never reaches your manager or your workplace.

    What happens next

The submission becomes a ticket at Vendion, tagged so we can see it comes from staff rather than from a restaurant owner. We read everything.

We do not promise a response time, and most reports are not answered individually – they become a fix in a coming version instead. If something is unclear we get in touch through the restaurant.

    Worth knowing

If sending fails your text stays put. If the network blinks you get an error message, but what you wrote remains in the box. Tap send again.

The button only exists in the staff portal. If you are at the till, the kitchen screen or the express kiosk you will not find it – report from the portal on your own phone instead.

Do not write passwords or personal ID numbers. We never need them to understand a fault, and the ticket is read by several people at Vendion.

This feature is part of Vendion Staff.
