    Release log

We ship continuously. Here is what has actually landed — release by release.

    StaffPOSAnalytics

The staff module all the way to payroll

Scheduling, absence, tips and premiums now follow one and the same model all the way to the payroll basis. And you can follow what we build from inside the app.

    New

    • · What’s new in Vendion — a page in admin where you follow every release, with a dot at the top when something has landed.
    • · The staff ledger can be shown straight from the till during an inspection.

    Improved

    • · The till tells the terminal’s own message apart from the card’s — staff see immediately when a terminal needs charging.
    • · Tip distribution follows the kitchen share and the role weights you have set.
    • · Absence shows up in the schedule and carries all the way to the payroll basis.
    • · Public-holiday premiums are calculated by one and the same model, from schedule to payroll.
    • · Staff accounts hold together through the whole lifecycle — invitation, re-invitation and offboarding.
    • · Analytics reports tips, labour cost and payment methods the same way the till and payroll do.
    POSStaff

A steadier payment flow at the till

Payments at the till have been reworked under the hood: faster feedback, clearer status and full visibility on partially paid bills.

    New

    • · Partially paid bills continuously show what is settled and what remains.
    • · The register log shows who issued refunds and voids.

    Improved

    • · The till says right away when a payment is already running.
    • · The PIN lock applies to a single device — a manager can unlock it on the spot.
    • · Night-shift premiums and public-holiday OB follow the actual collective agreement model.
    Card acquiring

    Card acquiring, event by event

Settlements and balances now report every event separately — purchases, refunds and payouts — reconciled against the payments taken at the till.

    New

    • · Settlements report each event separately, so the transaction count mirrors the day at the till.
    • · The balance view separates money on its way to the bank from payouts still in flight.

    Improved

    • · Settlements are reconciled automatically against the card payments recorded at the till.
    AccountingCard acquiring

    Watertight bookkeeping to Fortnox

    Improved

    • · Every journal entry and invoice reaches Fortnox exactly once, even if the same batch is sent again.
    • · Entries created by Vendion are labelled in Fortnox, so you can see at a glance what came from the till.
    • · Partial refunds of a card purchase now travel all the way back to the guest’s card.
    POS

The home screen remembers where you were

    New

    • · The home screen remembers the app you used last and takes you straight there next time.

    Improved

    • · The screen after a completed sale is compact — the buttons fit without scrolling.

    Stamp cards that redeem themselves

Stamps count correctly and the reward is applied automatically — at the till and when the guest pays online.

    New

    • · The stamp-card reward is applied automatically when the guest pays online too.
    • · Guests fill in their own birthday, and you follow the stamp cards from admin.

    Improved

    • · Long lists — menu items, segments and tags — are searchable and open downwards.
    MarketingBookingPOS

    Automations get their own editor

Marketing automations moved into a proper editor, stamp cards got their own home, and bookings now reach your inbox.

    New

    • · Automations are built step by step in their own editor: trigger, channel, content and audience.
    • · One automation can go out as both SMS and email, and each card shows how many are queued.
    • · Stamp cards have their own tab, milestone texts to the guest and live status at the till and on the receipt.
    • · You get an email when a guest books, amends or cancels online.

    Improved

    • · AI Boss answers "how do I…" questions grounded in the knowledge base.
    • · The automation log shows the statuses that genuinely exist for each send.
    • · Guests get a friendly message when table booking is switched off.

    • · Event tickets are sold and paid for as the guest books.
    • · A table can be held with a card guarantee, carrying a fee when the guest is a no-show.
