Install the Vendion App on iPhone and Android

You can run Vendion right in the browser, but it's often nicer to add the app to your home screen. That gives you a dedicated icon, full-screen mode without an address bar and the option of push notifications.

On iPhone and iPad (Safari)

1. Open app.vendion.com in Safari.
2. Tap the Share button (the square with an arrow pointing up) in the toolbar.
3. Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen.
4. Adjust the name if you like and tap Add.

The Vendion icon is now on your home screen. Open it to run the app in full screen.

On Android (Chrome)

1. Open app.vendion.com in Chrome.
2. Tap the menu (three dots in the top right).
3. Choose Install app (or Add to Home screen).
4. Confirm with Install.

The icon is added among your apps just like any other app.

Benefits of installing

• Full screen – no address bar in the way, more room for content.
• Quick access – one icon to tap, no web address to type.
• Push notifications – the option to receive alerts (see the article on push notifications).

Tip: On a till or kitchen screen that should always show Vendion, the home-screen shortcut is especially handy – the screen boots straight into the app.
