How the Home Screen Works
The home screen (also called the hub) is the first thing you see after logging in. It gathers every app you have access to in one place, for the restaurant you've selected.
What you'll find here
- A greeting at the top – e.g. "Good morning, where to?"
- Restaurant switcher – if you're connected to several restaurants, you change the active one here.
- App tiles – one tile per app you can open:
| App | What it does |
|---|---|
| Admin | Settings, menu, reports and your AI assistant (Boss) |
| POS | The till for taking orders and payments |
| KDS | The kitchen screen showing tickets in the kitchen |
| Express | The express kiosk for self-ordering |
| Staff portal | The staff's own view for schedule and time reporting |
Which tiles you see depends on your permissions and which devices the restaurant has. If an app is missing, the right device may not be set up yet.
Find your way back
In most views (except the POS, express and kitchen screen, which have their own menus) there's a Home button in the top right. Tap it to return to the hub anytime.
Pin a favourite
Want to land directly in a specific app next time you log in? Tap the star on an app tile to make it your home view. You can always undo it and land on the home screen again.
In the top right you'll also find your profile icon. That's where you change your password, PIN and appearance – and log out.
