Getting Started
Set Your Default Start View
2 min read#10
Do you almost always use the same app? Then you can skip the home screen and land exactly where you want every time you log in. This is your default start view.
Where you set it
You set your start view under My profile:
- Tap your profile icon in the top right.
- Choose My profile.
- Find Start page after login.
- Pick from the list – e.g. Always the home screen or a specific app (Admin, POS and so on).
- The choice saves immediately.
The quick way: pin on the home screen
You can also choose your start view directly from the home screen. Tap the star on an app tile to make it your home view. Tap the star again to remove the choice and land on the home screen as usual.
What the options mean
| Option | What happens at login |
|---|---|
| Always the home screen | You land on the hub and pick an app every time |
| A specific app | You jump straight into that app |
Good to know
- The setting applies when you log in on your own device.
- Tills and terminals have their own start view set in the device settings – that controls what that particular screen shows, regardless of your personal choice.
Want to always see the home screen again? Choose Always the home screen in your profile, or remove the star from the pinned app.
