Turn On Push Notifications in the Mobile App

With Vendion's mobile app you can get push notifications right on your phone, so you don't miss important updates even when the app is closed.

Allow notifications

When you log in to the mobile app, your phone asks whether Vendion may send alerts. Tap Allow and you're set. That's all it takes – there's no separate on/off switch inside the app; the permission is controlled by the phone.

If you accidentally said no

Declined notifications the first time? Then turn them on via your phone's settings:

On iPhone:

1. Open Settings on the phone.
2. Scroll down to Vendion.
3. Tap Notifications.
4. Turn on Allow Notifications.

On Android:

1. Open Settings on the phone.
2. Go to Apps and choose Vendion.
3. Tap Notifications.
4. Turn on notifications for the app.

What you can be notified about

Push notifications are used to keep the team updated – for example around schedule and staff messages. When you tap a notification, the app often takes you straight to the right view.

Good to know

• Push notifications work in the mobile app (the one you've installed on your home screen/phone), not in a regular browser on a computer.
• Getting no notifications even though you allowed them? Check that the phone's notifications are on for Vendion using the steps above.

Tip: First install the app on your home screen (see the article on installing the app) – that's the best way to get push working.
