Light and Dark Theme

Vendion can show in a light or dark theme. You decide what suits you best in admin and most views.
Where you choose the theme
- Tap your profile icon in the top right.
- Choose Min profil (My profile).
- Under Utseende (Appearance) you choose between:

| Ljust | Light background – airy and clear in daylight |
| Mörkt | Dark background – easier on the eyes in low light |
| System | Follows your device's setting automatically |
The choice saves immediately in the browser you are using.
Some views are always dark
The POS and kitchen screen (KDS) always run in dark theme. This is a deliberate choice: in a restaurant setting, often in the evening and in low light, a dark screen is easier to look at and less distracting. There, the theme can't be changed.
In admin in a web browser and the staff portal, the setting above controls the theme. Admin in the downloaded mobile app uses a dark theme. Guest pages such as booking and online ordering follow the restaurant setting under Allmänt → Varumärke → Tema för kundvyer. The Express kiosk theme is set separately under Enheter → Expresskassor: select the device and change Tema in its settings.
Tips
- Sitting in the office during the day? Light is often clearest.
- Working the floor in the evening? Dark or System usually feels best.
- Want the web view to follow your device’s night mode? Choose System. This does not change the mobile app’s fixed dark theme.
The theme only affects how the app looks – all your data, menu and settings are exactly the same whichever theme you choose.
