Moving Payroll from Fortnox to Vendion Payroll

A payroll system switch is made at a month boundary. The last pay run in Fortnox and the first in Vendion Payroll must fit together, and each person's holiday balances must come along.

    1. Export the holiday liability list from Fortnox

Do it straight after the last pay run in Fortnox, and save it. The list cannot be produced for an earlier date afterwards.

    2. Opening holiday balances

Under Personal ▸ Löner you enter each person's holiday balance at the switch: paid and unpaid days, advance days, saved days per year and the holiday-qualifying pay.

If the restaurant has Fortnox Payroll connected, Vendion can fetch the balances from Fortnox. Vendion only reads, and shows the Fortnox value next to Vendion's per person. Nothing is saved until you press Stämmer (correct) for that person.

Enter these by hand: ongoing sick periods (first sick day and waiting-period deduction), paid holiday supplement and time bank.

    3. The parallel month

Run the first month in both systems. Vendion's payroll run has Jämför med Fortnox lönebesked (compare with Fortnox payslips): enter gross, tax and net from the Fortnox payslip per person. The difference is shown per person and in total, and every difference should be explained before you switch.

    4. The switch

Vendion switches Vendion Payroll on for the company from a payment month. From that month the runs are live: pay is made with Vendion's bank file, and AGI and Fora are filed with Vendion's files. The payroll files for Fortnox (PAXml) are no longer shown for those months.

    Good to know

    • If the company paid salaries in Fortnox earlier this year, enter them under Utbetalt tidigare i år.
    • Pay types, agreements and unsocial-hours rules already live in Vendion. Check them under Personalinställningar before the parallel month.

This feature is part of Vendion Staff.
