    Guest Linking – View Guest Info in POS

    The POS shows rich information about the guest when a booking or customer is linked to the order. In the payment view there is also a loyalty panel that makes loyalty redemption a one-click moment.

    What's shown in the guest panel:

    • Guest name and phone number
    • VIP status (⭐ to ⭐⭐⭐)
    • Allergens (red warning)
    • Special requests from the booking
    • Number of visits and average spend
    • No-show history
    • Tags (VIP, Regular, Press etc.)
    • AI summary of the guest's preferences

    Open full customer profile:

    • Click on the guest's name → popup with complete history
    • View all previous visits and orders
    • See booking history, tips, favourite dishes
    • Edit tags and notes directly

    Link customer manually: Click Link customer to search and link an existing customer to the order (name, phone or email). Or create a new customer directly from the POS.

    Loyalty panel (new – March 2026): When a guest is linked to the order and the loyalty program is active, the loyalty panel appears in the right column of the payment view:

    1. Tier badge at the top – coloured with the guest's current level (e.g. "Gold") and perks list
    2. Points balance – e.g. "342 points ≈ 34.20 SEK"
    3. Redemption buttons – preconfigured quick buttons (100, 200, 500, 1000 pts) + Max
    4. Stamp card rewards – if the guest has earned stamps, a button per reward is shown, e.g. "Redeem Free coffee"
    5. Tier perks – bullet list of perks (e.g. "Welcome drink for the party", "5% discount on the whole order")

    Redemption behavior:

    • Click "100 pts" → the total is recalculated instantly and the discount shows in the cart
    • Click "Redeem Free coffee" → discount or free item added
    • If the minimum redemption hasn't been reached or there isn't enough to redeem on the order, the button is shown in grey

    Automatic tier discount: If the guest's tier has a flat discount (e.g. Gold = 5% automatic discount), the discount is added when the order opens – no button press required. The server sees it as "Tier discount 5%" in the cart.

    Additional info in the loyalty panel:

    • Booking priority indicator (if the tier has booking priority)
    • Birthday bonus (if it is the guest's birthday and the tier grants bonus points)
    • Link to the guest's full loyalty profile

    Design: The loyalty panel uses an amber gradient to match Vendion's brand and sits discreetly to the right in the payment view without stealing focus from the payment.

    Tips:

    • Check the Allergens warning BEFORE sending to kitchen – it has saved many dinners from anaphylaxis
    • The AI summary is gold for regulars: "Prefers window table, no garlic, drinks red"
    • If the loyalty panel buttons are greyed out – lower the order total or ask the guest to add more before redeeming
    • Manager PIN may be required to override the minimum redemption in exceptional cases
