Super search – find anything in the POS fast

When the restaurant is busy you do not want to browse. Super search is a single search box in the POS that finds three things at once: products, guests and today's bookings.
Where do I find it?
At the top of the POS there is a magnifying glass (search icon). Tap it to open super search with the cursor already in the field. The box reads "Search guest, product or booking…".
How to search:
- Tap the search icon
- Start typing (at least two letters) – results appear instantly as you type
- Tap a result to use it
What you can search for:
| Category | You find | What happens when you tap |
|---|---|---|
| Guests | Name, phone (VIP flagged) | The guest is linked to the active tab |
| Products | Item names from the menu | The product is added to the cart |
| Today's bookings | Name or phone of today's guests | You jump to the booking |
Good to know:
- To add a product you first need an active order. If you don't have one you'll see "Select a table or start an order first".
- Search shows the most relevant matches per category – type more to narrow it down.
- Booking search covers today's bookings, perfect when a guest walks in and gives their name.
Tip: Super search is the fastest way to link a regular to the tab mid-rush – type the first letters of the name and tap.
