Variants and Modifiers

Many products have variants (sizes) and modifiers (extras).

Variants:

• E.g. Small / Medium / Large
• Each variant has its own price
• Select a variant using the buttons in the product dialog when adding the item

Modifiers:

• E.g. Extra cheese (+15 SEK), Béarnaise sauce (+20 SEK)
• Grouped (e.g. "Choose sauce" – min 1, max 2)
• Modifier price is added to the base price
• Shown under the product name in the cart

Remove ingredients:

• If the dish has ingredients that can be removed, they appear under Ingredienser (ingredients) in the product dialog
• Untick an ingredient the guest does not want. The row then shows e.g. Utan Lök (without onion)
• On the tab it appears in red under the dish: − Onion, − Tomato
• The kitchen screen shows the same red line, and the paper ticket prints - UTAN Onion
• A dish without an ingredient becomes its own line and is not merged with a regular one

How it works:

1. Click on a product with variants, modifiers or removable ingredients
2. A dialog opens
3. Select variant (if applicable)
4. Select modifiers (check the ones the guest wants)
5. Untick ingredients the guest does not want
6. See the total price update in real-time
7. Click Add
