Manage Stock Status (86)

"86" is the restaurant industry term for an item being out of stock. In Vendion you can quickly mark items as unavailable.

How to mark an item as out of stock:

1. Go to Settings → Menu → Products
2. Find the item in the list
3. Click the 86 button (toggle)
4. The item is immediately marked as "Out"

Alternatively from the POS:

• Right-click (or long-press) on the product card
• Select Mark as out of stock (86)

What happens when an item is 86'd:

Reactivate an item:

• Click the 86 button again to remove the marking
• The item becomes immediately available again

Tips:

• Use 86 instead of deleting the item – it'll come back next day
• Perfect for daily specials that run out
• Staff can 86 directly from the POS without going to admin
