Create and Edit Menu Items
Menu items are the products in your menu. Manage them under Menu → Products.
Create an item:
- Click + New item
- Fill in the fields (see table below)
- Click Save
Fields per item:

The product group is required: it determines which account the sale is posted to and which VAT rate applies. You can't save an item without one, and you don't set VAT per product – VAT always follows the product group.
Items without a fixed price: if you sell something whose price varies – a hotel night, the dish of the day, EV charging per kilowatt – turn on Open price. The price field locks and the POS asks for the amount at every sale instead. See the open price article for details.
Edit an item:
- Click on the item in the list
- Change the desired fields
- Click Save
Delete an item:
- Find the item under Meny → Produkter → Alla artiklar (menu → products → all items).
- Use the list’s removal action.
- Read the dialog and confirm Ta bort / arkivera (delete / archive). Used items may be archived to preserve sales history.
Tips:
- Set ticket destination right away – otherwise the item won't appear in the kitchen
- Use emojis to make the POS more visual and faster to navigate
- Internal notes can be used for cooking instructions for the kitchen
