Allergens on Menu Items

Vendion supports the 14 EU allergens. You select allergens per item under Menu → Products.

Location	How
POS	Press and hold or right-click the product to open its information
Guest ordering (QR)	Automatically under the item name
Booking details	The guest’s stated allergies provide information for staff to check
AI Waiter	Can answer from registered allergen information; always check with the kitchen

Tips:

Be thorough – allergen information can be life-critical
Update immediately if a recipe changes
AI can help find registered information, but the kitchen must verify it against the actual recipe

Create products with a name, price and product group. Add images, allergens, variants and a kitchen destination; VAT follows the product group.

Create modifier groups like "Choose sauce" or "Extras" with min/max selections, price adjustments and default choices. Link to one or more items.
