    Create a package – such as a lunch deal or a three-course menu

    A package is several products sold together at a fixed price. It could be a lunch deal with a drink, or a three-course menu where the guest picks a starter, a main and a dessert.

    How to:

    1. Go to Meny in the admin menu and open the Produkter tab
    2. Click Nytt paket (new package). The package editor opens as its own page
    3. Fill in Paketnamn (package name), Menygrupp (var i menyn) (menu group) and Varugrupp (bokföring) (product group)
    4. Enter Fast paketpris (kr) (fixed package price)
    5. Under Grupper (vad gästen får) (groups – what the guest gets), click + Lägg till grupp for each part of the package, for example "Starter" or "Drink"
    6. Add the options in each group. Mark the default with Förval, set Antal (quantity) and optionally a Tillägg (surcharge) in SEK for pricier options
    7. Click Spara paket (save package)

    The fields:

    Kvitto: visa bara paketnamn och prisOn = the receipt shows the package as one line. Off = the receipt also shows its parts. Return receipts always show the parts

    VAT: At the bottom of the editor you can see how the package price is split across the parts and what VAT that gives, if the guest takes the defaults. Each part gets the VAT from its own product group.

    Fixed or choosable package:

    • Fixed package: everything is decided in advance. The package is rung up directly and can be sold online.
    • Choosable package: when a group has several options, the POS asks which one the guest wants when the package is rung up. Choosable packages don't appear in the online menu yet.

    Tip: Sell the package once in the POS before service and look at the receipt, so you can see that the price and lines came out as you intended.
