Set Seating Duration by Party Size

Different party sizes need different amounts of time at the table. You can create rules that automatically adjust the seating duration.

Create a seating duration rule:

1. Go to Bordsbokning → Inställningar → Skift & Tider
2. Under Sittlängd per gästantal, click Lägg till regel
3. Enter:
   • Min gäster – e.g. 1
   • Max gäster – e.g. 2
   • Sittlängd – e.g. 90 minutes
   • Gäller för skift – Alla skift (all shifts), or a specific shift if the rule should only apply there
4. Click Spara regel

Example durations to adapt to your service:

How it works: The system picks the seating duration in this order:

1. A rule for the party size that is tied to the shift the booking falls in
2. A rule for the party size that applies to Alla skift (all shifts)
3. The shift's own Sittlängd field under Skift & Tider
4. Standard sittlängd under Grundinställningar, otherwise 120 minutes

A rule tied to a shift only applies to that shift – never to another one.

Keep in mind: Don't create two rules with overlapping party sizes for the same shift, or two that both apply to Alla skift. Then it isn't decided which one is used. Check the calculated duration when creating a booking.
