Set Seating Duration by Party Size

Different party sizes need different amounts of time at the table. You can create rules that automatically adjust the seating duration.

Create a seating duration rule:

1. Go to Bokning → Inställningar → Skift & Tider
2. Under Sittlängd per gästantal, click Lägg till regel
3. Enter:
   • Min gäster – e.g. 1
   • Max gäster – e.g. 2
   • Sittlängd (minuter) – e.g. 90 minutes
   • Gäller för skift – select Alla skift, see the limitation below
4. Click Spara regel

Example durations to adapt to your service:

How it works: The system matches guest count against the rules. Without a match, it uses Standard sittlängd (minuter) under Grundinställningar, otherwise 120 minutes.

Limitation: A rule’s shift selection currently does not reliably restrict which booking uses it. A general rule takes priority over a shift-specific one. Use Alla skift and avoid overlapping guest-count ranges. Check the calculated duration when creating a booking; the shift’s own duration field is not used as the fallback.
