    Create a Booking Manually

    When a guest calls or walks in and wants to book, you create the booking in admin.

    Step by step:

    1. Go to Reservations
    2. Click + New booking (or click directly on an empty slot in the timeline)
    3. Step 1 – Date & count: Select date and number of guests
    4. Step 2 – Time & table:
      • Select shift
      • Choose an available time (the system shows available times)
      • Select a table manually or let the system assign automatically
      • Select allergens if the guest mentions any
    5. Step 3 – Guest information:
      • Enter name (required)
      • Phone number (optional but recommended – enables SMS and CRM linking)
      • Email (optional)
      • Special requests (e.g. "High chair", "Window table")
      • Tags (e.g. VIP, Birthday, Press)
    6. Step 4 – Confirm:
      • Review all details
      • Choose whether to send confirmation SMS
      • Click Create booking

    Customer matching: If you enter a phone number, the system automatically searches for existing customers and shows their history, VIP status, and previous visits.
