The booking system collects and displays allergens and special requests clearly for the staff.
Where it's shown:
- In the booking detail panel (POS and admin)
- Each allergen is shown with a label and icon
- Special requests are shown as free text below the booking details
Allergens the guest can specify: The system has a list of common allergens the guest can select when booking (e.g. gluten-free, lactose-free, nuts, shellfish).
As staff:
- Open the booking in the POS
- Allergens are shown with clear labels in the detail panel
- Special requests are shown as text (e.g. "High chair needed", "Window table preferred")
For manual bookings (admin):
- Allergens can be selected in step 2 of the booking form
- Special requests can be entered in step 3
Tip: Always check allergens and special requests before the guest sits down – it makes a professional impression and prevents issues.
