Go from Booking to Order

When a guest with a booking has arrived, you can quickly link the booking to an order in the POS.

Step by step:

1. Open Bord → Bokningar and select the booking. Click Placera vid bord, confirm the assigned table with Placera or select a table
2. The POS automatically opens the selected table
3. Take the order as usual – the booking is automatically linked to the order

Benefits of linking:

• The guest name and recorded allergens appear beside the tab. Special requests are in the booking detail panel
• If the booking has a linked guest profile, the order can also link to that guest and paid purchases contribute to their purchase history
• If the table already has an open tab, the booking links to it. Check that it belongs to the correct party before choosing Placera ändå in the warning

Check the link: Make sure the correct guest name appears beside the tab. Booking analytics shows historic customer spend for top guests; it has no separate average-tab-per-booking metric.
