Register Guest Arrival

When a guest with a booking arrives at the restaurant, register their arrival in the POS.

Step by step:

1. Open Bord → Bokningar in the POS
2. Find the booking (search by name or browse the list)
3. Click the booking – the detail panel opens
4. Click the green "Placera vid bord" (Seat at table) button – for resource bookings without a table it reads "Markera som ankommen" (Mark as arrived)
5. If tables are already assigned, confirm with Placera or choose Byt bord. Otherwise select a table in the dialog. Check seats and any warnings
6. Status changes to Sittande (seated) and arrival time is recorded. Timer display depends on your view settings

What happens:

• Resource bookings are marked arrived directly; they do not open a table tab
• Booking status changes to Sittande
• Arrival time is recorded
• Table is marked as occupied in the floor plan

Tip: Once you seat the guest at a table, that table opens automatically in the POS so you can start taking orders right away.
