Four words that are easy to mix up. All of them are set under Bordsbokning → Inställningar → Skift & Tider.

A skift (shift) is a service, for example lunch or dinner. You set name, start, end, last booking time, active days and whether it is Bokningsbar online. The button for a new shift is Lägg till skift, and you save with Skapa skift.

Sittlängd (min) is how long a booking in the shift holds the table, unless a rule under Sittlängd per gästantal says otherwise. A shift can have its own seat length for walk-ins.

Sittningar — fasta tider (seatings — fixed times) is used when guests should only book set times. Add the times with Lägg till tid. Pacing windows then follow the seatings. Without seatings, the shift is booked on the times that fit between the start and the last booking time.

Pacing limits how many guests may start in each window when the guest books themselves. The window is Per timme (per hour), Per halvtimme (per half hour) or Per kvart (per quarter). An empty cap means no limit. 0 means closed online. Samma tak på alla fills every window at once.

A red figure means the pacing cap is reached for guests booking themselves. Staff can book anyway.

Max gäster per skift is the cap for the whole shift. Empty means unlimited. Säsong with Från and Till makes the shift visible only in that period.

The guide for a new table booking is four steps: date and guests, time and table, guest details, confirm.

More on each field is in Create and Manage Shifts and in the article on seat lengths.
