Configure Payment Methods

Under Admin → Försäljning → Betalmedel (Sales → Payment methods), choose which methods appear in the POS and online checkout.

Show or hide

• Visa i kassa (Show in POS) controls cashier payment choices.
• Visa online (Show online) controls guest checkout.
• A dash means the method is not used in that channel.
• Protected methods cannot be deleted. Some toggles are also locked.

An integrated card terminal is used in the POS. Online card, Swish, Apple Pay and Google Pay can appear as separate online methods when connected. At the staffed till, guests tap their card or phone on the payment terminal.

Add a manual payment method

1. Open Försäljning → Betalmedel.
2. Enter a name in Nytt betalmedel (New payment method), such as a method you use outside the integrated terminal.
3. Click Skapa (Create).
4. Check Visa i kassa and agree its accounting mapping with your accountant.

Creating a name does not connect a terminal, Swish or another payment service. A manual method records payment in Vendion; staff must verify that the money was received in the external service before recording it.

Pay in the POS

1. Open the tab and select Betala (Pay).
2. Select the appropriate available method.
3. For an integrated card payment, follow the terminal messages and wait for a final result.
4. For a manual payment, verify receipt according to your restaurant's routine.
5. Check that the tab completed and offer a receipt.

Guests can pay using several methods. Register one part at a time and check the remaining balance. For cash payments, the POS calculates change from the amount received.

Changing methods

Hide unused methods, use clear names and check how each method is booked. Naming a method Staff meal does not itself determine how the sale or staff benefit should be handled.
