Configure Payment Methods

Under Settings → Payment Methods you manage which payment methods are shown in the POS at checkout.

Default payment methods:

Add a payment method:

1. Go to Settings → Payment Methods
2. Click + New payment method
3. Enter name (e.g. "Staff meal", "Prepayment")
4. Click Save

Show / Hide payment methods:

• Click the toggle next to each method
• Hidden methods are not shown at checkout in the POS
• Perfect if you don't offer e.g. Swish

How payment works in the POS:

1. Staff clicks Pay
2. All active payment methods are shown
3. Staff selects the right method
4. The amount is registered
5. Receipt is generated

Split payment:

• The guest can pay with multiple methods (e.g. part cash, part card)
• Staff selects one method at a time
• Remaining amount is shown automatically

Cash with change:

• For cash payments, staff enters the received amount
• The system calculates change automatically
• The correct amount is registered in the register

Tips:

• Hide payment methods you don't use – it speeds up the checkout flow
• "Staff meal" can be created as its own payment method to track staff benefits
• All payment methods are logged in the Z-report per method
• Verify that all used methods match your accounting
