Send a receipt copy by SMS afterwards

It happens often: the guest has already paid and asks for the receipt afterwards. In Vendion you find the order in the history and send a receipt copy – as a printout or as an SMS link.

Find the order:

1. Open the POS side menu and choose Tidigare notor (Previous tabs)
2. Select the correct date and Denna kassa (This till) or Alla kassor (All tills). Find the paid order in the list
3. Tap the order to open it

Send the copy:

1. Tap the Print copy button
2. A box opens where you choose how the copy is delivered:
   • Receipt printer – a paper receipt with a clear "COPY" stamp prints on the till's printer
   • SMS – enter the guest's phone number and they get a link to a digital receipt copy
3. Select SMS, check the number and deselect Receipt printer for digital delivery only. Confirm with Print copy or Share digital copy, then check the success message

Original versus copy

A receipt copy is always clearly marked COPY so it can't be confused with the original. Vendion creates one signed copy per receipt. Once it has been created, Receipt printer is disabled, even if the first copy was delivered digitally. The button becomes Share receipt copy digitally and you can send the existing copy by SMS.

Good to know:

• If the guest's phone number is already on the order it's suggested automatically in the SMS field.
• Every copy sent is logged, so you keep track of what has left the till.
• No receipt printer? You can still share the copy digitally by SMS.

Tip: For business guests who need the receipt for their accounting, the SMS link is often easiest – they have the receipt on their phone right away and can forward it.
