Manage vacation, sick leave, childcare and other absences.
Absence types:
| Type | Description |
|---|---|
| Vacation | Paid vacation |
| Sick | Sick leave (qualifying day calculated automatically) |
| Childcare (VAB) | Care of sick child |
| Parental leave | Parental benefit |
| Leave of absence | Unpaid leave |
| Other | Other absence |
Manage absence requests:
- Go to Staff → Staff → Absences
- See all pending requests
- Click on a request for details
- Approve or Reject with comment
Vacation balance:
- The system tracks earned, used and saved vacation days per year and employee
- Shown on the employee's detail page
Qualifying day calculation: For sick leave, the qualifying day is calculated automatically (1 day per 14-day sick period, max 12 months history).
