Personal identity number on the time clock

A personal identity number is an optional alternative to a PIN for clocking in and out. The setting is off to start with.
- Go to Personal → Inställningar → Tider.
- Under Stämpling & tidrapportering is the switch Personnummer på stämpelklockan.
The help text says: Valfritt alternativ till PIN för in- och utstämpling. Ansvarig kan registrera en tillfällig person med manuellt namn. Registreringen ger ingen kassabehörighet, lön eller automatisk dricksfördelning. Personnummer är ingen legitimationskontroll.
In plain language: it is an optional alternative to a PIN. A manager can register a temporary person by name. The registration gives no till access, no payroll and no automatic tip share. The identity number is not an identity check.
Register a temporary person
The dialog is named Registrera tillfällig person. It says the person is registered for the staff register and for hours, and that no till access, payroll or automatic tip share is given.
The fields are:
- Personnummer — 10 or 12 digits. A coordination number works too.
- Förnamn (first name)
- Efternamn (last name)
The manager enters their personal PIN. The button is Registrera och stämpla in (register and clock in).
