Sections – Organize Your Restaurant

Sections help you organize your restaurant into logical areas. Manage them under Settings → Tables & Floor Plan.
Common sections:
- Dining room
- Patio
- Bar
- Private dining / VIP
- Terrace
Create a section:
- Go to Settings → Tables & Floor Plan
- Click + New section
- Enter name (e.g. "Patio")
- Click Save
Assign tables to sections:
- When creating or editing a table, select section in the dropdown menu
- Each table can belong to exactly one section
Filter in the POS:
- In the floor map you can filter by section
- Click the section name to show only those tables
- "All" shows all tables
Sections in the floor plan:
- Each section can have its own visual layout
- Switch section in the floor plan builder to place tables per area
Tips:
- Create sections that match how your staff thinks about the restaurant
- Fewer sections = faster navigation in the POS
- Sections can be used for filtering in reports and bookings
