Sections – Organize Your Restaurant

Sections help you organize your restaurant into logical areas. Manage them under Tables.

Common sections:

• Dining room
• Patio
• Bar
• Private dining / VIP
• Terrace

Create a section:

1. Go to Admin → Bord → Bord (Tables)
2. Click Hantera sektioner (Manage sections)
3. Enter a name (e.g. "Patio")
4. Click Lägg till (Add)

Assign tables to sections:

• When creating or editing a table, select section in the dropdown menu
• Each table can belong to at most one section

Filter in the POS:

• With two or more sections, the POS Bord (tables) view shows one button per section, next to Karta (map) and Rutnät (grid)
• Tap a section name to show its tables. The first section is selected when you open the view, so you always see one section at a time
• With no sections or only one, all tables are shown and there are no section buttons

Sections in the floor plan:

• Each section can have its own visual layout
• Switch section in the floor plan builder to place tables per area

Tips:

• Create sections that match how your staff thinks about the restaurant
• Fewer sections = faster navigation in the POS
• In Hantera sektioner, choose whether the section is bookable
