Floor Plan Builder

The floor plan builder lets you create a visual map of your restaurant. Find it under Admin → Bord → Bordskarta (Tables → Floor plan).

Enable the floor plan:

1. Go to Admin → Bord → Bordskarta (Tables → Floor plan)
2. Enable Grafisk bordskarta (Graphical floor plan)
3. The floor plan canvas appears

Place tables:

1. Choose a section or create one with + Sektion.
2. The left panel contains new table shapes and unplaced tables. Drag an existing table onto the map, or drag out a shape to create one.
3. Place it where it physically stands. Check its number and seats in the properties panel.

Table shapes:

• Round – for round tables (default)
• Rectangular – for long tables/benches
• Change shape by clicking the table and selecting in the menu

Resize:

• Click on a table on the map
• Drag the corners/edges to resize
• Size can be adjusted to match the number of seats

Move tables:

• Drag the table to a new position
• Position is saved automatically

Fullscreen mode:

• Click the fullscreen icon to see the entire floor plan
• Perfect for larger restaurants

Sections in the floor plan:

• Switch sections using the section buttons above the map to build each part separately
• E.g. Dining room, Patio, Bar

How the floor plan appears in the POS:

• Staff sees the visual map instead of a list
• Colours show tab status; reservations are also shown in the table overview
• Click on a table to open its order

Tips:

• Draw the floor plan to match the physical layout – it makes it intuitive for staff
• Use rectangular tables for bench groups
• Test in fullscreen to see the complete picture
