Follow service with Analytics Live

Open Analytics++ → Live and check the selected restaurant. This view follows ongoing service. It fetches new data roughly every twelve seconds while active, so an event may not appear immediately.

Today’s sales

The top shows Försäljning idag (Today’s sales), order count, average tab and peak hour. The time after sedan (since) marks the start of the current restaurant business day. If its cutoff differs from midnight, today’s figure follows that setting.

When today’s paid tabs have a guest count (the POS Ask or Require mode per register), the number of guests and average per guest also appear, with the share of table tabs that have a count below. The average is sales on tabs with a count divided by the number of guests; a split tab counts towards its original tab. Without guests today, none of this is shown.

The amount uses paid order totals including VAT. This view does not subtract refund orders or specifically exclude gift-card sales. Do not treat it as net sales after refunds or a replacement for the Z-report.

Small hourly bars show the day’s distribution. Hover over a bar to read its amount.

Compare up to the same clock time

The comparison covers the same weekday last week, from trading-day start up to the same local Stockholm clock time. Both amounts use the same filters and time cutoff. This lets you compare today's lunch with last week's lunch without including last week's entire evening.

If last week's amount is zero, no percentage change is shown. If a daylight-saving transition prevents a reliable clock-time comparison, an explanation replaces the misleading value.

Set today's target

Enter a positive target in SEK and save. The view shows progress and the amount remaining. You can change or remove the target. It is your target, not a sales forecast.

The target covers the whole restaurant and is hidden for filtered selections. Clear filters to see it. It is saved for the restaurant and trading day and is separate from the monthly budget.

Everyone who can see the restaurant's Analytics sees the same target and can change it. If the restaurant belongs to a chain, chain administrators see the target under Kedjeöversikt → Analytics → Budget (Chain overview → Analytics → Budget) and can set it there too.

A daily target set before targets were saved centrally was kept only in that browser. It is moved up automatically the next time you open Live. If a shared target already exists for the same trading day, the shared target is kept.

Live feed

Live-flöde shows up to 25 recent events within twelve hours:

• Betalning (Payment): a paid order with amount and time.
• Ny nota (New tab): a recently opened tab that is still open.

Once a tab is paid, its earlier opening event may be replaced by its payment. The feed is a snapshot, not a complete event log. Tabs can be identified by number, name, table or guest, depending on available details.

Open tabs

Öppna notor shows open-tab count and their combined order value. When open table tabs have a guest count, it also shows how many guests are at the tables, and how many table tabs have a count when not all do. The list puts the oldest first, with age, item-row count and amount.

Although the view calls the amount utestående (outstanding), it uses the full order total without subtracting existing partial payments. Check the remaining payment in POS before asking the guest to pay.

The list provides an overview. Open the tab in POS to edit, take payment or close it.

Top products today

Säljer bäst idag shows up to five products ranked by quantity multiplied by unit price. Amounts do not subtract separate line or order discounts. Use the list to follow what is selling during service; it is not a margin report or reconciliation of today’s net revenue.

Dates and updates

Live covers the current trading day. Use its filters for selections such as service type, cost centre and register. Switch to Försäljning (Sales) to examine other dates.

If figures appear to stop updating, check connectivity and return to the tab or reload. An error or empty event feed does not by itself mean sales have stopped.
