Global Filters – Date, Service Type, and Payment

Open Analytics++, choose a report and start with its dates. The report's filter bar shows supported controls; use Filter to narrow the data. Available options depend on the report and restaurant data.

Dates and comparison

Choose a preset or your own start and end dates. Reports using trading days follow the restaurant's cutoff. When the current trading day is included, the view indicates that it is still in progress.

Reports with Jämför offer Föregående period, Samma dagar förra veckan, Samma datum förra månaden, Samma period förra året and Egna datum. Egna datum opens a separate date picker. Check both intervals; the preceding period means the same number of days immediately before the main period.

Periodjämförelse has its own A and B date pickers. Live covers the current trading day and compares up to the same clock time last week. Bokningar uses its own dates and booking filters.

Betald or Bongad

Översikt, Försäljning and Produktmix offer Betald (paid) and Bongad (sent to kitchen). Betald uses payment time. Bongad uses when items were registered on the tab. Both rely on tabs that have been paid; open tabs are not sales here.

Overview assigns the whole tab to its first item, while Sales and Product mix can allocate data by item time. Tabs spanning several days can therefore produce different period amounts. Use the same time basis when comparing reports.

Understand filter scope

• Payment-method filters in sales reports select tabs using that method, not just the amount of the partial payment.
• Cost-centre filters restrict data assigned to the centre. Check records with no assignment.
• Employee and salary-type filters in Bemanning & kostnad cannot allocate sales to a person. Affected sales ratios are therefore withheld.
• The operating contribution view in Lönsamhet supports the whole restaurant or whole cost centres, not arbitrary sales selections.
• Svinn has its own item, category and missing-cost filters. Registration time determines the period.

The budget chart covers the whole restaurant and selected budget year independently of sales filters. Always check the report explanation, dates and selection; one filter does not automatically apply to every data source. Exports identify the included selection.
