Configure Express Kiosks

Express kiosks are self-service stations where guests order themselves – similar to McDonald's or Burger King.

Create an express workstation:

1. Go to Settings → Devices & Hardware → Express kiosks
2. Click + New express kiosk
3. Fill in:
   • Name (e.g. "Express Entrance", "Express Patio")
4. Click Save

Configurable per express kiosk:

Express flow for the guest:

1. Attract screen – "Tap to order"
2. Choose order type – Dine in / Takeaway
3. Browse menu – Categories and items
4. Customize – Variants and modifiers
5. Cart – Review and adjust
6. Pay – Card via terminal
7. Confirmation – Order number displayed

Tips:

• Set timeout to 60–90 seconds to prevent the kiosk from "hanging"
• Enable allergen display if you have many guests with allergies
• Test the entire flow before going live
• Upselling increases average ticket – enable it!
