Configure POS Registers
2 min read#51
A POS register is the workstation where staff takes orders, manages tables and processes payments.
Create a register:
- Go to Devices → Registers (POS)
- Click + New register
- Fill in:
- Name (e.g. "Register 1", "Register Bar")
- Register designation (for the fiscal control box, e.g. "A")
- Default printer (choose from linked printers)
- Click Save
Register designation:
- Each register needs a unique register designation
- The designation is registered in the fiscal control box (per Swedish fiscal law)
- Most common: "A", "B", "C" etc.
Assign printer:
- Select a receipt printer as the default printer for the register
- Receipts are automatically printed on the selected printer
Session control:
- Only one person can be logged in per register at a time
- If someone logs in on an already active register, the previous user is logged out
What's included:
| Register | Price/month | Includes |
|---|---|---|
| Register 1 | per your price list | POS + 15.6" POS computer + receipt printer + fiscal control box |
| Register 2+ | per your price list | POS + POS computer + receipt printer + fiscal control box |
You'll find current prices at vendion.com/pris or per your agreement.
Tips:
- Name registers by location (e.g. "Register Dining", "Register Bar")
- The register designation must be unique per restaurant
- Test the printer after configuration with a test print
