    Step-by-step what the guest sees and does – from QR scanning to confirmed order via the AI chat.

    The ordering flow

    1. The guest scans the QR code or opens the direct link
    2. The chat view opens in the guest's browser (no app needed)
    3. The AI greets with your customized greeting and introduces itself
    4. The guest types what they want – in free text, e.g., "a glass of cava and a caesar salad"
    5. The AI matches against the menu with fuzzy matching (e.g., "a cava please" → finds the right product)
    6. Products are added to the cart – the guest sees a summary
    7. The AI suggests sides and add-ons based on the order
    8. The guest confirms their order
    9. The order is created and sent directly to the POS and kitchen

    AI features during ordering

    • Fuzzy matching – The AI understands variants and abbreviations ("cap" → Cappuccino)
    • Recommendations – The AI suggests popular dishes, sides, or drinks that pair well
    • Required options – If a dish requires choices (e.g., size, preparation) the AI asks automatically
    • Allergen handling – The AI proactively asks about allergies and warns of risks
    • Multilingual – The AI can communicate in Swedish and English

    What the guest sees

    • A clean chat view with the restaurant's name and logo
    • Menu suggestions shown as clickable cards
    • The cart updates in real time
    • Confirmation page with order summary

    Good to know

    • The guest doesn't need to create an account or download an app
    • The entire flow happens in the browser
    • If the guest closes the window and reopens, the chat can continue
