Segments – Build Target Groups

Segments are dynamic filters that define a group of guests based on combinations of criteria.
Create a segment:
- Go to Marketing → Guests
- Click Create segment
- Add filters:
Available filters (19):
| Category | Filters |
|---|---|
| Behavior | Visits, total spending, average spend, visit frequency, last visit, first visit |
| Contact | Has email, has phone, SMS consent, email consent |
| Tags | Has tag, has auto-tag |
| Bookings | Number of bookings, no-shows, average party size |
| Milestones | Birthday within X days |
| Event/Resource | Event attendance, resource booking |
Operators: ≥, ≤, =, within X days, more than X days ago, has/lacks
Period: Limit to last 30/60/90/365 days or all time
- See live preview – the number of matching guests updates in real time
- Name the segment and choose an icon
- Save
Tip: Segments are dynamic – the guest list updates automatically when guest data changes. You never need to update them manually.
Example segments:
- "Loyal guests" – Visits ≥ 5, last visit within 30 days
- "At-risk guests" – Visits ≥ 3, last visit more than 60 days ago
- "Big spenders without email" – Average spend ≥ 500, lacks email
- "Birthdays this week" – Birthday within 7 days
