Pay at Table

Pay at Table lets the waiter take card payments directly at the guest's table with a mobile terminal – instead of the guest having to walk up to the register.

Why use it?

• The guest stays seated and pays conveniently at the table.
• Faster table turnover during the evening rush.
• Staff move freely around the room with the terminal.

How to turn it on:

1. Go to Devices → Card terminals in the admin view.
2. Click the pencil to edit the mobile terminal.
3. Turn on Pay at Table.
4. Choose a billing register – the register the bill is recorded against. This is mandatory and ensures the receipt and control code end up in the right place.
5. Save.

How it works in the restaurant:

1. The waiter starts the payment directly from the mobile terminal at the table.
2. The waiter enters the table number on the terminal.
3. The guest pays by card on the terminal.
4. The bill is completed and the receipt is created against the chosen billing register.

Good to know:

• The mobile terminal needs to be in Pay at Table mode to start payments at the table.
• Contact Vendion support if you're unsure whether your terminal has the mode enabled.
