Add and Pair a Card Terminal

Add the physical card terminal in Vendion and connect it to the register that will send payments to it. You need permission to manage devices.

Add the terminal:

1. In admin, open Enheter → Kortterminaler (Devices → Card terminals).
2. Select Lägg till terminal.
3. Choose the correct terminal model and enter its serial number.
4. Optionally enter a name, such as Bar counter.
5. Select Lägg till (add).

Tilldelas… means the restaurant connection is being processed. Fel means you need to check the details or contact support. Reopen the page to check the latest state if the status does not progress.

The Betalningsklar badge means the terminal is active in Vendion. It does not show whether the physical device currently has power or network access; check these on the terminal as well.

Connect it to the register:

1. Open Enheter → Kassor (Devices → Registers).
2. Select the register and open the Enheten (Device) tab.
3. Connect the card terminal to the register and save the setting.

A stationary terminal stays at a fixed register. A mobile terminal can be taken to the guest. To start payment by entering a table number on the terminal, also configure Pay at Table.

The list under Enheter → Kortterminaler only shows physical terminals. A phone that takes payment with Tap to Pay is not there – it is connected on the phone itself, at the bottom of Kassainställningar → Enheten.
