Take Card Payments at the Register

With an integrated card terminal, Vendion sends the amount directly to the terminal. It must be active and connected to the register you are using.

1. Open the bill and select Ta betalt (take payment).
2. Select the payment method for the integrated terminal. The restaurant may have customised its name.
3. If several terminals are connected, choose the one to use.
4. Wait while the amount is sent and the guest follows the terminal instructions, including any tip prompt.
5. Check the payment confirmation in the register. Once the entire bill is paid and completion succeeds, the receipt is created and the bill closes.

Integrated or standalone terminal? A manual payment method, such as Fristående Kortterminal, does not send an amount to the terminal. Take payment separately on that terminal and register it in Vendion only after confirming approval. A button named Kort does not by itself mean it is integrated. A manager can check the methods under Försäljning → Betalmedel → Metoder.

Receipt: After successful completion, print the receipt or use the register's SMS receipt option. For partial payments, the bill remains open until the full amount is paid.

If something goes wrong:

• An explicit card decline: ask for another card or payment method.
• Terminal busy: let the current payment finish.
• Unknown result or lost connection: check the bill, register message and terminal result before trying again. An open bill does not prove that no charge occurred.
• Card approved but receipt creation failed: follow the register's instructions for the receipt error. Do not start another card payment for the same amount before resolving the first one.

Ask a manager or Vendion support for help if the payment outcome is unclear.
