Bookable Resources

Create bookable resources like bowling lanes, karaoke rooms, private rooms or billiard tables. Resources are slot-based bookings – the guest books a specific time (e.g. 2pm–4pm) instead of an open seating.

Supported resource types:

Create a resource:

1. Go to Admin → Bokning → Events & Resurser → Resurser
2. Click Ny Resurs
3. Fill in:
   • Namn (e.g. "Bowling Lane 1", "Karaoke VIP")
   • Beskrivning (public marketing text)
   • Slug (URL-friendly, auto-generated)
   • Typ (see table above)
   • Max personer (max number of people in the resource – e.g. 12 for a private room, 6 for karaoke)
   • Pris/slot (kr)
   • Bokningslängd (min) (5–1440 minutes)
   • Städtid efter (min) for time between bookings
   • Kapacitetsläge: Fristående with units or Kopplad till bord with a Bordsegenskap
4. Enable Aktiv and click Skapa. For standalone resources, then open Enheter and check that the required units exist and are active

Availability per weekday: For each resource you define which times it's available per weekday:

The system automatically generates slots within these windows based on the slot duration. Example: if availability is 17:00–23:00 and booking duration is 60 min and cleaning time is 0 min, the guest can choose from 17:00, 18:00, 19:00, 20:00, 21:00 and 22:00.

Blocked times: Temporarily block times for maintenance, private events, staff meetings or seasonal adjustments:

1. Open the resource and go to the Blockerade tider (Blocked times) tab
2. Click Blockera tid, select date and time range. For standalone resources, Gäller can cover all units or one unit
3. Add a reason (e.g. "Floor maintenance", "Private event")
4. Click Blockera

Blocked times are shown as unavailable in the booking view and calendar.

Slot duration – recommendations:

Double-booking protection: Availability is checked when booking. A standalone resource can have several units, so bookings may overlap when different units are free. A table-linked resource uses available tables with the chosen feature. Check mode, active units, tables and cleaning time before publishing.

Public booking link: Your resources appear on app.vendion.com/book/your-slug?view=resources – here the guest sees all your resources with available slots in real-time. Guests pick date, time, party size and optional special requests.

Link to the booking calendar: Resource bookings appear in the same calendar view as regular table bookings. Each booking has a label showing the resource name and slot time. Staff manage status (seated, completed, no-show) the same way.

SMS confirmation and reminder: Resources use the same SMS flow as table bookings. Resource name and end time are not expanded as separate template variables. For resources where equipment needs preparation (bowling, karaoke) – consider a 1-hour reminder.

Waitlist: Resources have no waitlist. If a slot is booked, the guest automatically sees other available slots the same day or other days.

Tips:

• Combine resource bookings with table bookings – e.g. "Book bowling at 6pm + dinner at 8pm" for a complete experience
• Use blocked times strategically for planned maintenance – communicate in the description field
• Price per slot always appears on the public page – clear and transparent

Licensing: Bookable resources are included in the Booking module or in Vendion 360. You'll find current pricing in the price list at vendion.com/pris or per your agreement.
