Adding a New Staff Member

Invite staff to the system and create their profile.
Step 1 – Invite to the system:
- Go to Settings → Users
- Click Invite team member
- Enter email address and name
- Choose role:
- Boss – Full administrator access
- Staff – Limited access (own schedule, time clock, portal)
- Click Send invitation
The employee receives an email with a link to create their account.
Step 2 – Create staff profile:
- Go to Staff → Staff
- Click Add staff
- Fill in:
- Name and contact details
- Personal identity number (for the staff register)
- Employment type: Permanent, fixed-term or hourly
- Salary type: Monthly salary or hourly rate
- Salary amount (SEK/month or SEK/hour)
- Employment rate (50–100%)
- Role (e.g. Chef, Waiter, Bartender)
- Skills: Kitchen, Bar, Floor, Dishwashing, POS (can have multiple)
- Employment start date
- Bank account (for salary payments)
- Save
Tip: You can link an existing system user to a staff profile via the onboarding wizard that appears automatically.
