The bottom row of the register's Online view is for staff during service. There you pause new online orders, change the preparation time and turn ordering methods on and off. Changes apply immediately.

    Pause new orders:

    1. Open the Online tab in the register.
    2. Tap Pausa (pause).
    3. Choose 15 min, 30 min, 60 min or Tills manuell (until manually resumed).

During the pause, "Pausad — nya beställningar tas inte emot" (paused, new orders are not accepted) is shown in the Online view, and the button is called Aktivera nu (activate now). Tap it to accept orders again. A timed pause ends by itself; Tills manuell does not.

What guests see during the pause:

    • If the guest chooses pickup or Äta här (eat here), Stängt för beställning (closed for orders) is shown, saying the restaurant is not taking online orders right now.
    • If the guest chooses delivery, they first fill in the address and then get the message that the restaurant has temporarily paused new orders.
    • QR ordering at the table is not affected.
    • A guest who already had the page open sees the menu until they reload, and can pay for what is already in the cart.
    • Orders that have already arrived are handled as usual.

The pause is the same thing as the Online Order aktiverad switch under Online Order → Inställningar → Grundinställningar. Turning the switch off pauses ordering until further notice. You can also ask AI Boss to pause online ordering until further notice or turn it on again, if you have the permission Hantera restauranginställningar (manage restaurant settings).

Change the preparation time: Prep shows the preparation time in minutes. Minus and plus change it in steps of 5 minutes, between 0 and 120. It is the same value as Förberedelsetid under Online Order → Inställningar → Öppettider & tid, and it sets the estimated ready time guests see. Raise it when the kitchen is under pressure.

    Tar emot and Auto-accept:

    • Under Tar emot (accepting) you turn Avh. (pickup), Lev. (delivery) and Bord (QR ordering at the table) on and off. Highlighted means open. Äta här is turned on and off in admin.
    • Under Auto-accept are Avh. and Lev.. Highlighted means paid orders go straight to the kitchen without Ta emot. Auto-accept is off from the start.

How to accept, reject and follow orders is described in "Connection Between Online Order and the POS".

This feature is part of Vendion Online Order.
