Stamp Cards – Rule "Per Item Bought in a Menu Group"

In the stamp card editor the rule is called Per köpt vara i menygrupp (per item bought in a menu group). It awards stamps for the quantity of purchased items in a chosen menu group. Two matching pizzas earn two stamps. If you choose a main group, items in its subgroups count too, including subgroups added later. Perfect when you want to steer the guest's choice toward a product group — e.g. "only stamp if the order contains a pizza" or "only lunches count".

When does it fit?

• You want to drive sales of a product category (lunch, pizza, beverages, fika)
• You want to exclude accessories from counting (no stamp for buying only water)
• You have clear menu groups in the menu
• You want to run multiple stamp cards in parallel, one per menu group ("Lunch Pass" + "Pizza Pass" + "Fika Pass")

Prerequisite:

Items need to be in the right menu group. You manage menu groups under Meny → Menygrupper (menu → menu groups).

How to configure the rule:

1. Open Marknadsföring → Klippkort and choose Stämpelregel = Per köpt vara i menygrupp.
2. Select Menygrupp som stämplar (menu group that earns stamps). You can choose a main group or a subgroup.
3. Press Spara alla klippkort.

Behavior example:

Scenario: Stamp card "Pizza Club" (10 stamps = 1 free), rule = Per köpt vara i menygrupp, menu group "Pizza".

The rule counts item quantities. Loyalty reward lines do not count as new purchases. What counts is the item's menu group when the bill is paid.

Main group with subgroups:

If your dishes are in subgroups, for example Kött (meat) and Fisk (fish) under the main group Huvudrätt (main course), choose Huvudrätt on the card. Two entrecôtes and one cod on the same bill then earn three stamps. A subgroup you add under Huvudrätt later counts too. If you choose a subgroup instead, only that subgroup counts.

Want one specific product only?

Choose Per köpt menyobjekt (per menu item bought). Per köpt vara i menygrupp counts all purchased products in the chosen menu group; Per köpt menyobjekt counts only the selected product.

Several menu groups:

The card supports one menu group per stamp card. If the groups you want to count (e.g. "Lunch" and "Dinner") are subgroups of the same main group, and all of its subgroups should count, choose the main group. Otherwise create one stamp card per menu group.

Staff flow:

1. Staff identifies the guest in the POS.
2. The loyalty sidebar shows stamp cards the guest is on.
3. Qualifying items are counted automatically when the linked guest’s order becomes paid.
4. Use the register’s +/− only for deliberate manual corrections. Those buttons do not validate the order’s category.

Tips:

• Name clearly: "Pizza Club" is better than "Program A".
• Posters: Print a "Buy 10 pizzas, the 11th free — Pizza Club" poster and place it at the POS.
• Groups that belong together: If you have several menu groups for the same type of product ("Pizza Classics" + "Pizza Specialties"), both count when they are subgroups of the same main group and you choose the main group. If you choose one of the subgroups, only that one counts.
