The "SEK threshold" rule gives a stamp per paid order where the order sum exceeds a threshold in kronor. It is the rule for you who want to reward guests who truly spend at your restaurant — not just drop in for a cup of coffee.
When does it fit?
How to configure the rule:
Behavior example:
Scenario: Stamp card "Dinner 10" (10 stamps = 1 free starter), rule = per order ≥ 300 kr.
| Order | Amount | Stamps earned |
|---|---|---|
| #100 | 350 kr | 1 |
| #101 | 299 kr | 0 (just below threshold) |
| #102 | 450 kr | 1 |
| #103 | 180 kr (lone coffee + sandwiches) | 0 |
| #104 | 720 kr (3 courses + wine) | 1 |
Note: The rule gives max one stamp per order even if the order is double or more over the threshold. Want "1 stamp per 100 kr started" — that function does not exist in April 2026.
Upsell effect:
Guests consciously on a stamp card will often add on to reach the threshold. If the threshold is 300 kr and the guest has 280 kr — they add a coffee or dessert for 35 kr to get the stamp. This is a well-known mechanism.
How do you set the threshold?
Tip: Calculate average order value (find it in Analytics → Overview or the guest profile). Set the threshold 10–20 % above the average to get the upsell effect without the guest feeling it is unattainable.
Example:
Amount that counts:
The system counts the order total after discounts (including loyalty redemption). If the guest redeems 50 points for 5 kr off a 305 kr order → order value becomes 300 kr — but the threshold still applies.
What happens on returns?
If the order is later refunded, the stamp is not automatically reversed in April 2026. Staff / manager must manually adjust if the guest insists.
Staff flow:
Same as other rules — staff clicks "Give stamp" in the POS, and the system validates the threshold automatically. If the order is under the threshold, the button is disabled.
