Log Out

Need to log out of Vendion? It takes a few seconds. But at the till there's a smoother way to switch person – more on that below.

How to log out

1. Tap your profile icon in the top right (on the home screen and in most views).
2. At the bottom of the menu, tap Log out.

You're logged out and sent back to the login page. Next time you log in with a magic link or password.

At the till: switch staff instead of logging out

At the POS, several people often work on the same screen during a shift. You don't want to log out completely between each person – that would require an email and password every time.

Instead, staff identify themselves quickly with their PIN code:

• Each employee enters their PIN to take over the till.
• The switch takes seconds and needs no full logout.
• What gets recorded is linked to the right person thanks to the PIN.

So for the everyday staff switch at the till: use the PIN, not a full logout.

When should you log out completely?

• When you leave your own device (phone or computer) and want to close your session.
• On a shared computer where the next person should log in with their own account.

Closing the app or browser doesn't necessarily log you out – use Log out in the profile menu when you really want to end the session.
