Chain operations is Vendion's module for anyone running more than one restaurant under a shared brand or parent company. It's a brand new feature family launching in 2026, targeting franchisors, holding companies, master franchisees, and multi-unit operators.
What is a chain in Vendion?
A chain is an optional umbrella entity that groups multiple restaurants under centralized management – with varying levels of control and local flexibility. You can choose to share menu, brand, loyalty, and gift cards between units, or only selected parts.
Who is it for?
| Audience | Typical use |
|---|---|
| Franchisors | Brand standardization, central menu, oversight of all units |
| Holding companies | Shared financials, pooled loyalty, intercompany settlements |
| Master franchisees | Sub-franchising a brand to multiple locations |
| Multi-unit owners | Operational efficiency, consolidated reporting |
Important – optional: Restaurants without a chain link work exactly as before. Chain membership is fully optional. This means Vendion can launch chains without disrupting existing single-restaurant customers.
