Each register is a workstation in the system.
Workstation types:
| Type | Usage |
|---|---|
| POS | Register (point of sale) |
| KDS | Kitchen real-time screen |
| Express | Self-service kiosk |
| Printer | Standalone network printer for receipts/tickets |
Per workstation:
- Unique name (e.g. "Register 1", "KDS Kitchen", "Express Entrance")
- POS and express registers have a fiscal control connection; kitchen screens do not take payment
- Assigned default printer
- Session control (only one logged in at a time)
- Monthly price (billed by Vendion)
Occupied device: If the register is in use, Ta över enhet (take over device) appears before takeover. Coordinate with your colleague first, since the previous device session can end. Select an available register when working at the same time.
