Printer Configuration

Configure receipt and kitchen printers under Admin → Enheter → Skrivare (Devices → Printers). Click Lägg till skrivare (Add printer) or edit an existing printer. Assign the receipt printer to the appropriate till and the kitchen printer to the appropriate ticket destination.
Printer types:
| Type | Usage |

| Receipt printer | Customer receipts at payment |
| Kitchen printer | Kitchen tickets |
Ticket destinations:
- Each menu item is assigned a ticket destination
- A destination can be a KDS screen or a printer
- Examples: "Kitchen", "Bar", "Dessert", "Cold station"
Printer connection:
- Star mC-Print3 via CloudPRNT (cloud-based print bridge)
- The printer fetches its printouts over the internet – no cable to the till
- Register the printer under Devices, then assign it to a till or ticket destination
Ticket contents:
Content and appearance depend on the ticket template in use. A ticket can show:
- Table number
- Tab name
- Order number and time
- Destination
- Server's name
- Items per category with quantity
- Modifiers and variants
- Kitchen notes
- Total item count
