Register Audit – Filter and Export

    2 min read#32

When you want to follow up on a specific employee, a certain type of event, or a defined period, you filter the register audit so only what you are looking for is shown. You find the filters at the top of the Admin → Register Audit page.

    Quick date ranges

At the top are four quick buttons: Today, Last 2 days, Last 7 days, and Last 30 days. Click one to set the period instantly – perfect for a quick check after a shift.

    Custom filters

If you want more control, there are four fields side by side:

    1. From – start date of the period
    2. To – end date of the period
    3. Action – pick a specific event type (e.g. only open discounts or only returns), or All actions
    4. Staff – pick an employee, or All

The filters can be combined freely. To see all discounts a certain server gave last week, set date, action, and staff at the same time. The list updates instantly, and at the bottom you can page through if there are many events.

    Export to CSV

Next to the filters sits the Export CSV button. It downloads exactly the selection you see – the same filters apply to the export. Here is how:

    1. Set date, action, and staff as you want
    2. Click Export CSV
    3. The file saves to your computer and can be opened in Excel, Numbers, or Google Sheets

    Good to know

    • The file uses semicolon as separator and Swedish encoding – it opens cleanly in Swedish Excel.
    • The export includes time, staff, action, target, and amount for each row.
    • Use the CSV export as a monthly record: save one file per month and you have a traceable archive of discounts and voids to compare against going forward.

Tip: Make it a routine to export the register audit at the end of each month. That way you catch unusual patterns early – before they cost you money.
