On July 8 this year, Okee Dokee opened its doors in Karlshamn. The concept is crystal clear and exactly what guests are demanding this summer: a great vibe, fantastic food, and plenty of activities. Here, classic restaurant operations share the floor with entertainment like darts, karaoke, and billiards. Running a hybrid venue of this caliber places enormous demands on your technology. You have to manage table reservations, bar tabs, time slots for activities, and a constant flow of guests. To solve this equation, Okee Dokee chose to step into the future with Vendion.

Starting a new restaurant or entertainment concept is often associated with technical headaches. Historically, restaurateurs have been forced to piece together a patchwork of different vendors: one for the POS, one for table reservations, a third to manage the billiard tables, and maybe a fourth for QR ordering. The result? A messy ecosystem where nothing communicates, and staff are forced to jump between different screens. Okee Dokee took a different route. They chose everything in the same system.

Fredrik, who runs Okee Dokee, is no beginner. He has been a business owner in the restaurant industry since 2003 and knows exactly how complicated it used to be to implement new technology.
