Welcome Daniel – from Stockholm to Lysekil

Welcome Daniel – from Stockholm to Lysekil

Who is Daniel Källén at Vendion?

Daniel Källén is the newest member of Vendion's customer support. He has twelve years of experience in technical and customer support, from the data centre at Nasdaq to startups and large international companies in Stockholm, Malta and Spain. He is now moving from Stockholm to Lysekil to look after the restaurants that run Vendion.

Welcome Daniel – from Stockholm to Lysekil

Vendion is growing, and we're adding strength where customers notice it most. Daniel Källén has joined our customer support team and is moving from Stockholm to Lysekil to be on site.

Twelve years of support in three countries

Daniel started out as a data centre engineer at Nasdaq OMX in Stockholm, an environment where uptime is never up for negotiation. Since then he has worked in customer and technical support for more than twelve years, at startups as well as large international companies.

His path has taken him via Malta and Marbella and back to Stockholm. He has answered customers on the front line, led a team, followed up on service incidents and tested software before it reaches users.

That's why he knows both sides of a support case: the person who needs help right now, and the technology that has to be understood so the problem doesn't come back.

    Why Lysekil?

"I've worked in support at large organisations where a customer easily becomes a ticket number. Here I sit a few metres from the people who build the system. When a restaurant gets in touch, I can go straight to the right person, and the customer notices the difference."

    – Daniel Källén

What it means for you as a customer

    • Answers from someone who knows the technology. Daniel troubleshoots himself instead of just passing things on.
    • A short path to development. Support sits in the same office as the people who build Vendion, so what you tell us reaches the product directly.
    • An understanding of restaurant life. When something goes wrong in the middle of service, every minute counts.

    Mikael on Daniel

"We wanted someone who can both listen and troubleshoot. Daniel has done exactly that for twelve years, in environments where things can't go wrong. The fact that he's moving to Lysekil to be part of this says a lot. Welcome, Daniel!"

    – Mikael Selander, founder and CEO
