Vendion launches Catering – and it is included in Vendion 360

What is Vendion Catering and what does it include?
Vendion Catering is a new module that brings the whole catering job into the same system as your POS: enquiries from your website and booking page, quotes your customer approves via a link, kitchen briefs and online ordering. The module costs 490 SEK/mo and is included in Vendion 360. Restaurants that already have Vendion 360 get it automatically, with no change in price.
Catering is often good business. But for many restaurateurs it is also a patchwork of phone calls, emails, PDF menus and notes for the kitchen. Details get lost, quotes sit unanswered and nobody is quite sure which version applies.
Today we are launching Vendion Catering, a module that brings the whole catering job into the same system as your POS, from the first question to the paid job. And if you already have Vendion 360, you don't need to do a thing.
Included in Vendion 360, at the same price
Every restaurant on Vendion 360 gets Catering automatically. No new fee and no upgrade to order.
Vendion 360 still costs 2,490 SEK/mo, but it now includes seven modules instead of six. Bought separately, the modules cost 3,530 SEK/mo, so the saving has grown from 550 to 1,040 SEK a month.
That is the idea behind Vendion 360. You pay for the platform, and the platform grows. New features reach every customer continuously, and the release log shows everything we have shipped. Catering is the latest example: a brand-new module added to the bundle without a price change.
Not on Vendion 360? You can add Catering for 490 SEK/mo, with no lock-in.
Enquiries straight into Vendion
Most catering jobs start with a question, not an order. That is where Vendion Catering starts too.
Add a catering enquiry button to your website and show a card on your booking page. The customer fills in the occasion, the date, roughly how many guests, whether the food is picked up, delivered or served on site, and any dietary needs. The form carries your logo and your colours.
The enquiry lands straight in the catering module. You get a notification, the customer gets a confirmation, and the job is already filled in when you sit down to write the quote. No emails to dig up, nothing to copy across.
A quote your customer approves with a link
Build the job from dishes on your menu or write it freely, and add whatever goes with it: delivery, service, tableware and staff. Dishes can be sold per person or per piece.
The quote goes out with your logo and your terms. The customer reads it on their phone and approves it with their name and one click, with no account and no hassle. The approved quote becomes a confirmed job, and the customer gets an order confirmation straight away.
If the number of guests changes, it can be adjusted up to the last change date. Every change is saved as a new version, so everyone knows which one applies.
A kitchen brief the kitchen actually reads
The kitchen gets the same job, without the prices. Times, covers and dietary needs are at the top, where they are seen. Print the brief on A4, email it as a PDF or send a kitchen ticket on the day of production.
Invoice directly, or paid at the POS
Invoice customers are invoiced straight from the back office. The invoice goes to your invoicing software, Fortnox or Hogia via Vendion Integration, with no detour through the POS. If the customer pays on site by card or Swish, you send the job to the POS as a ready-made bill instead.
VAT is set on every line according to how the food is handed over: currently 6% for pickup and delivery, 12% when you set up and serve at the customer's venue, and 25% on alcohol. No need to work it out yourself.
Catering online, on your terms
If you sell standard catering, customers can also order straight from your own catering menu. They choose the date, headcount and delivery method first, then the dishes. You decide lead times, cut-off times and which dates are closed.
Private customers pay by card or Swish up front. Corporate customers can get their own link and order on invoice. You confirm every order before it applies, and if you decline one, the customer is refunded automatically.
From corporate lunch to wedding
A conference lunch for 40 and a wedding for 120 look nothing alike. Vendion Catering is built for both: quick when the job is simple and flexible when it is big. And because everything lives in the same system as your POS, menu and customer register, nothing has to be entered twice.
